This month 'player of the month' goes to Aaron Taylor aka Van der Vaart. who has played exceptionally well this month on return from an injury. He has also played in many different positions from right to left back, midfield, on the wing and of course up front.  Which has aided team to do well since his return.

F.A FILMING

Quwwa has taken part in a 90 second film on behalf of the F.A to encourage people over the age of 16 years to take part in football. This film will be shown nationally within few months.

Quwwa F.C has taken part in a series of programmes for Islam Channel. One programme was on Healthy living featuring on of our players Rameen Majeed. In this documentary there will be footage also of club training session in Kennington park.

Another programme was on 'Cyber bullying' Featuring another of ouir players Hamza Osman, and had interviews with Adam, Yahya Bamba, and Yahaya Dhair who are all members of our club.

Another program will feature some of our younger players such as Brayan Villazon, Jamal Abu bakri, Hamza Abu Bakri,and  Kevin for a programme which involved fitness training with a Fitness Guru 'Mabs'

PAINTBALLING SATURDAY 19/2/2011

QUWWA F.C Will be going paintballing this saturday 19/2/2011 in upminster run by Delta Force. We will be setting off from training ground at 7:30 sharp!

Welcome to QUWWA FC. We are a South London based football team. We are associated with the North Brixton Islamic Cultural Centre (NBICC). WE ARE ALSO AFFLIATED WITH THE LONDON FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.

What seperates our team from other teams is our honest proffessional approach to enrich youngsters not only with competitive team football but also with methods to enable them to become better players. We feel very confident that players skill and technique will improve immensly when training with us that we are opening our doors to any budding young footballer to come and train with us. Thereafter they can make the decision if they would like to be a full squad member.
